Mary King's eNews - Rich People are Bigger than their Challenges
August 2007
Hello,
Recently I quoted the words of that inspirational man Dr. R Buckminster Fuller: inventor, designer and thinker. 'Bucky' said, the reward for solving a problem is a bigger problem. In the context of today seeing our 'problems' as 'challenges', the statement can now become: the reward for overcoming a challenge is a bigger challenge.
We travel on our journey through life on a spiral. As we move along the spiral we may encounter challenges that remind us of ones we handled in the past. We may experience similar feelings, as if the same situation is recurring. We are actually up a rung on the spiral, on another level. Even though our feelings are similar to a past situation, this time the challenge holds greater magnitude, intensity or depth.
Think about a challenge you are facing at the moment. Can you see that it is bigger than some of your previous challenges?
One of the differences between rich people and poor people is how they manage challenges. Rich people are bigger than their challenges. Poor people are smaller than their challenges.
If you notice you are facing a bigger challenge now, know you have the skills to handle it. It means you are growing. It also means you are capable of holding more wealth. Your knowledge is your wealth. You cannot learn less. Your wealth can only increase. With each passing day your wealth is increasing. Sometimes we miss this fact because our wealth may not have manifested yet and we may not realise we are as wealthy as we are.
The Having Abundance meditation we use in the workshop Rich is Better - Wealth for Women is now available for you to buy from the home page of my site.
Best wishes for your financial freedom,
Mary King
